This is a stylized painting of a yellow Ringneck Parakeet. The model for this was my pet bird. Her name is Re (as the Egyptian sun god) and she is adorable. I recommend anyone interested in owning a parrot to take a good look at ringneck parakeets, they make wonderful pets.
